Amy, Office Manager

Amy is a married mother of two. She grew up in and continues to reside in Peachtree City. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Berry College. She has been in the dental profession for 22 years, 15 of which have been as office manager in our office.

Amy is very involved in her church and also loves camping, traveling and spending time with her family. She and her husband also own Cookie Express in Peachtree City.

Sharon, Registered Dental Hygienist

Sharon is a married mother of two. Her son is a Georgia Tech graduate and her daughter is a graduate of Auburn University. She is originally from the Fairburn area and has lived in Fayette County for 35 years. Sharon has been a registered dental hygienist for 36 years. She has been working with Dr. Ward since he graduated from dental school. Sharon is a graduate of Clayton State College with a degree in dental hygiene.

Sharon loves Auburn and Georgia Tech football, camping, church, traveling, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Julie, Registered Dental Hygienist

Julie is a married mother of two. One of her daughters lives in Florida and the other is in Physician's Assistant school in West Virginia. Julie grew up and continues to reside in Senoia. She has been in the dental profession for 37 years, 25 of which have been with Dr. Ward. She attended both Reinhardt and Clayton State College. She graduated from Clayton State College with a degree in dental hygiene.

Julie loves gardening, traveling, baking, cooking, waterfall hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Denise, Registered Dental Hygienist

Denise is a mother of two. She grew up in the Midwest and Northeast before settling in the South. She has been a Fayette County resident for 17 years. Denise graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from Clayton College & State University and also holds a Bachelor of Business from Georgia State University. Denise has been with our office for eight years.

Denise likes working out (especially kickboxing), her family, church, hiking, and to travel (prefers the beach)

Sherry, Registered Dental Hygienist

Sherry is a mother of two. She attended Clayton State University and graduated with a degree in dental hygiene and an Associates Degree in Science. She has been in the dental profession for 31 years and has been with our office for 2 years. Sherry likes cross-stitching, working in her yard, and walking.

Callie, Treatment Co-ordinator

Callie is a married mother of two. She is originally from College Park and now resides in Senoia. She attended the University of Georgia. Callie has been in the dental profession for 25 years, 11 of which have been with our office. She is our patient and insurance co-ordinator and serves as a chairside assistant when needed.

Karen, Chairside Assistant

Karen is a married mother of one and has one grandchild. She is originally from northern Virginia where she attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She has been a dental assistant for 49 years, some of which were with the U.S. Government Dept. of Defense. Karen has been Dr. Cox's chairside assistant for 13 years.

Karen is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association and is a Certified Dental Assistant, Certified Dental X-Ray Technician, and is Expanded Duties Certified. She loves to golf, travel, go on cruises, read, and work on crossword puzzles.

Lynn, Patient Co-ordinator

Lynn is a married mother of two and has four grandchildren. She grew up and continues to reside in Coweta County. She has been in the dental profession for 34 years. Lynn is a patient co-ordinator and serves as a chairside assistant when needed. She has been with our office for six years. Lynn likes reading, camping, and hiking.

Lisa, Chairside Assistant

Lisa is a married mother of three.  She is originally from Manchester and now resides in Peachtree City.  She has been in the dental profession for 29 years.  Lisa is an expanded duty assistant certifited in othodontics and xrays. 

Lisa enjoys outdoor activities including biking and running.  She has participated in numerous half marathons, 1 full marathon, and 2 sprint triathalons.  She also enjoys baking, cake decorating, arts & crafts and spending time with her family.
